The Day of Silence, a project of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) in collaboration with the United States Student Association (USSA), is a student-led day of action where those who support making anti-LGBT bias unacceptable in schools take a day-long vow of silence to recognize and protest the discrimination and harassment -- in effect, the silencing -- experienced by LGBT students and their allies.

Pretty self explanatory. Rather simple because I want you to focus on the message and not the animation.

I don't see what spending a day in silence will do to help people understand that sexual preference doesn't make anyone less of a person than anyone else, but I liked the animation and its message.

A really interesting way to convey the message. And, I don't mean to be cynical or anything, but like ~ aloneinthedark said, I don't really see how being silent for a day would do much. I think it would do more to speak out against people that gay-bash than to remain silent. Nice job though.

my school will be doing the day of silence on the 30th its always been successful we even got teachers in on it its an amazing thing

I remember seeing that a couple years at my school. I wasn't real comfortable with myself at the time...maybe perhaps I'll do it this year.
