This picture was taken for my Photo 102 class. We had these creative assignments where the teacher would give us a word, and we'd have to go photograph the word. This is actually a reshoot... the word "Freedom" was originally assigned in September, because of September 11th. The original that I turned in was a little confused, thematically. I had my models in an embrace, so "Love" was kinda upstaging "Freedom" (if you'd like to see the original, it appears in my current desktop over on my own page here). So, for the reshoot, I put them in charge of their own posing, and when I saw something I liked, I had them hold it and just fine-tuned it to look good for the camera. As for my purpose with this, my point... that should speak for itself.

I'm not (for lack of a better word at the time being) gay. But I completly respect what the believe in and give them props. I wish I could completely express myself with out fear of others, I guess that's a flaw of my lifestyle. Anyway, the shot is very well taken as well. The quality is astounding. Keep up the good work.

Hey,
Sorry it took me almost a week to submit this, but as you know I was in San Franslisco. ;)

It's a great portrait. I love the soft tones and great lighting. The pose is so natural and genuine.... very endearing (sp)... makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Plus it doesn't hurt that they're a very adorable couple. ;)

We should make this a print. :nod:
