"I had such a difficult time with this project, because, let's face it, I AM cliche. I am Superdyke. I couldn't find anything about me that stood out as being anything else. I wear army clothes and combat boots and I don't wear make up; I play too many video games and I hug trees. I shave probably once every 3 months. But I have bizarre taste in music for someone my age, so I went with that. The music in my ears is Pachelbel's Canon.

I am bisexual and got a surprised reaction from someone when I said I was not a lesbian because I fall into that "stereotype".
Its sad that this world can't just see people for who they are, not what cliche they fit.
I really like this piece, I myself am more "femme" but I am getting to detest the label, I wear combat boots on a regular basis and it screws with people's heads and their preconceived notion (i.e. Label) It's an awesome piece chica.
It's really errie how much I can totally relate to this. I don't wear combot boots probably only because I can't find any good ones or I can't quite afford 'em yet until my old shoes are dust.
But yeah.. I can relate.. I do dress like a tomboy and etc. I really like this piece, for more than just "I can relate, +fave".
Reading that makes me think about the stereotypical dyke -that word to me seems so rude and nasty, i dunno it just doesn't sound pleasant- *shrugs* i dunno... but I have been slammed into that category many times before...just because i am different, i choose to have short hair and tell my best friend i love her and so many other things that you can say "oh look at her, she must be a lezzo" *rolls eyes at silly people*... now i don't care because if i were one, i would be proud!
that was just me rambling , but i do like this, it means something to me and yet i am not quite sure what... that's why i added it as a fav. ^_^
do i get to be an honorary dyke if i wear combat boots and no makeup and don't shave and stuff? i mean, is being straight a disqualifier? (my boyfriend looks good in makeup...)
